My wonderful trainer has helped me get motivated, energized, and back into the pre-preggy wardrobe. Thank you Katie!!!
Depending on her age, Ruby has done different things during our workout. At first she used to sleep in the middle of our bed, as still as a rock while I sweated and groaned in the living room. Then she sat in her swing or "circle of neglect" and observed me with curiosity...
Now she wants to work out too!
I like the idea of raising a strong, independent woman :) It's never too early!
She looks sweet in the shot above but you should have heard her a few seconds before: "Come on, 50 more crunches Mommy- WORK IT!!!"
At least she finds my pain entertaining :)

Katie even convinced me to run a 5K which I hadn't done since college. Although I never got around to training for it (insert frazzled parent excuses here) I somehow managed to channel the energy of everyone around me and ran it in 30 minutes.
The BEST part of the entire run, however, was seeing my Dad, Scott, and Ruby cheering me on near the finish line. I ran the last few hundred feet with a huge smile on my face and it is a "first" that I will remember for a long time.
